Pricing Software Instructions
Anything changed in the Pricing Software Administration Tool will be visible in the End User interface.

    • Administration Tool Demo
      • To enter the Data-base(DB) use the user name and password given to you by your Quote Solutions Representative:
        • Username: your username
        • Password: your password
      • Navigation inside the application:
        Note:  It is important to complete these steps in order if starting with a fresh Data-base(DB). Ex: If you were to skip directly to the Specifications/Product link and try to input pricing there wouldn't be any products to put prices on.

        However: We have already supplied a populated Data-base(DB) so feel free to edit at your leisure. Please call (303-690-2920) if you would like to sample a blank DB.

          • This will display headlines and important links
        • Options
          • Locations
            • Gives the user a reference as to where they are planning to use the new product (eg. dining or bathroom).
            • First choose which product type you wish to edit (eg. windows or patio doors).
            • Click an existing link to edit or delete an existing location.
            • Click on the add link to add a new product location.
          • Manufacturers
            • The ability to add or subtract manufacturers from the DB(eg. alside or amerimax).
            • First choose which product type you wish to edit (eg. windows or patio doors).
            • Click an existing link to edit or delete an existing manufacturers.
            • Click on the add link to add a new product manufacturers.
          • Styles
            • The ability to add or subtract styles from the DB(eg. double hung or hopper).
            • First choose which product type you wish to edit (eg. windows or patio doors).
            • Click an existing link to edit or delete an existing style.
            • Click on the add link to add a new product style.
          • Colors
            • The ability to add or subtract colors from the DB(eg. beige or white).
            • First choose which product type you wish to edit (eg. windows or patio doors).
            • Click an existing link to edit or delete an existing color.
            • Click on the add link to add a new product color.
          • Options
            • The ability to add or subtract options from the DB(eg. Low-E or Low-E/Argon).
            • First choose which product type you wish to edit (eg. windows or patio doors).
            • Click an existing link to edit or delete an existing option.
            • Click on the add link to add a new product option.
        • Specifications
          • links on all Specification pages:
            • Min width # the minimum width of each entry is a link to that individual row.
            • Select All use to selects all entries
            • Clear All use to clears all selected entries
            • Add use to add new product sizes and pricing
            • Duplicate use to duplicate any selected rows
            • Delete Selected use to delete any selected rows
            • Group Edit use to edit multiple selected rows all at once
            • Adjust Price use to adjust pricing (percentage based) on the entire table
          • Removal
            • Enter Sizing and Pricing information for the removal of product(s). If no sizing information applies, just enter 0's for all entries.
            • Use the corresponding links to drill down to the size and pricing tables.
            • Use the links discussed above to edit the product information in the tables.
          • Installation
            • Enter Sizing and Pricing information for the installation of the product(s).
            • Use the corresponding links to drill down to the size and pricing tables.
            • Use the links discussed above to edit the product information in the tables.
          • Product
            • Enter Sizing and Pricing information for product(s) itself.
            • Use the corresponding links to drill down to the size and pricing tables.
            • Use the links discussed above to edit the product information in the tables.
          • Option
            • Enter Sizing and Pricing information for the available options of the product(s).
            • Use the corresponding links to drill down to the size and pricing tables.
            • Use the links discussed above to edit the product information in the tables.
        • Adjustments
          • Options
            • Use this link to increase or decrease the pricing (percentage based)
            • Select a Product Type,a Product Manufacturer then increase or decrease
            • Then enter a percentage (eg. 10) and click save
            • This would either increase or decrease the price of all sizes under the selected manufacturer.
          • Products
            • Use this link to increase or decrease the pricing (percentage based)
            • Select a Product Type,a Product Manufacturer then increase or decrease
            • Then enter a percentage (eg. 10) and click save
            • This would either increase or decrease the price of all options under the selected manufacturer.
        • Profile
          • Use profile to update any consumer information that Quote Solutions Inc. might need to know.
        • Logout
          • Brings you back to the Log on screen to re-enter username and password to access another DB.
